A dengue está se espalhando em Trabiju. A cidade de pouco mais de 1,6 mil habitantes tem 32 casos confirmados e mais 80 suspeitos e está em alerta, mas o diretor do Departamento Municipal de Saúde, William Ademir Letice, não descarta o estado de epidemia após a divulgação dos resultados dos exames realizados em pessoas com sintomas da doença. Os laudos devem chegar apenas na próxima semana e a demora gerou críticas.
“Começou comigo, depois o pequeno de sete anos, depois passou para meu outro menino, de 21 anos. A gente faz o exame e o resultado não vem. Faz mais de 15 dias que fiz o exame e até hoje não chegou. Como posso saber que isso é dengue?”, criticou a dona de casa Áurea dos Santos Moura.
A reclamação é a mesma da moradora Maria Tereza da Silva e de seus vizinhos, muitos deles com sintomas da doença. “Fiz o exame de sangue e estou aguardando a resposta. É assim em quase toda a rua”.
Segundo Letice, a demora ocorre porque a demanda é muito grande e o laboratório de Ribeirão Preto responsável pelas análises atende outras cidades da região.
Quanto ao aumento de casos, ele informou que o fato pode estar relacionado a criadouros do mosquito encontrados por agentes de fiscalização em uma empresa fechada no ano passado e pediu apoio. “Pode ter faltado fiscalização por parte de algum departamento, mas falta a colaboração da população para que ela se conscientize nessa prevenção”, afirmou.
