O projeto de extensão Governança e Desenvolvimento Local: Novas Ferramentas de Gestão Pública para Inclusão, Inovação e Cidadania, veiculado pelo Programa de Extensão Universitária do Ministério da Educação (PROEXT-MEC 2014) e alocado no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência Política da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (PPG-Pol/UFSCar) realiza, em conjunto com a Diretoria de Esporte, Cultura, Lazer e Turismo e o Departamento de Educação de Ribeirão Bonito, uma ação cultural denominada de “Identidade & Memória: Imagens para Registrar o Cotidiano, a História e a Cultura de Ribeirão Bonito”.
A mostra ficará na Prefeitura para visitação da população de 29 de junho até 26 de julho das 9h às 16h
Em linhas gerais, essa atividade busca capturar a identidade e a memória da comunidade de Ribeirão Bonito com fins de atingir, observar e apreender importantes aspectos de sua cultura local.
Nesse sentido, este atividade teve a intenção de dar visibilidade às percepções identitárias dos sujeitos que fazem a história dessa cidade. Somado a isso, também se almejou a promoção do acesso à cultura em seu amplo significado e o contato entre os moradores desta localidade e as diversas dimensões identitárias presentes na sua memória social.
Nesta ação, buscou-se promover o registro da identidade e da memória social do município de Ribeirão Bonito através de imagens e por meio da construção de uma exposição fotográfica que, certamente, só se edificou graças à participação da comunidade local que forneceu os registros históricos necessários para a constituição de um acervo fotográfico inédito.
Na exposição, a fotografia funcionou como o mecanismo pelo qual capturamos aspectos identitários da cidade de Ribeirão Bonito. O uso da fotografia se justifica pela sua característica altamente dinâmica e popular, possibilitando assim, um maior contato e participação entre os atores locais e esta atividade.
Por fim, vale destacar que este trabalho foi desenvolvido de maneira conjunta, dessa forma, foi de fundamental importância a participação da comunidade de Ribeirão Bonito que forneceu o material para exposição, a diretora da Escola Municipal “Coronel Pinto Ferraz”, Soraya Pessa, e os coordenadores da ação Profª. Drª. Vera Alves Cepêda, Msº. Doutorando Felipe Fontana e o Mestrando Thiago Pereira da Silva Mazucato.
