Postos de vacinação realizam a vacinação das 7h30 às 10h30 e das 13h30às 16h

A Vigilância Epidemiológica de Ribeirão Bonito disponibiliza a vacina contra o HPV, para os adolescentes de 9 a 14 anos (meninas) e 11 a 14 anos (meninos). São administradas duas doses com um intervalo de seis meses.
Os postos de vacinação, em Ribeirão Bonito e no distrito de Guarapiranga realizam a vacinação das 7h30 às 10h30 e das 13h30às 16h.
A vacina contra o HPV é indicada para mulheres e homens entre 9 e 26 anos e serve para diminuir o risco de câncer do colo do útero, de pênis e ânus. A vacina é gratuita para todas as meninas e meninos entre 9 e 13 anos de idade porque tem uma eficácia de 100% quando é administrada antes do primeiro contato íntimo.

HPV

O papiloma vírus humano é o causador de uma doença sexualmente transmissível chamada HPV. Ela é de difícil cura e se manifesta através de sintomas como verrugas que surgem na região íntima após o contato íntimo com um indivíduo infectado. Seu tratamento é feito com o uso de medicamentos e cirurgias de cauterização e dura em média 2 anos, embora os sintomas desapareçam um pouco antes.
O HPV é também conhecido por: condiloma acuminado, verrugas genitais, crista de galo, figueira e cavalo de crista.
