Por volta das 23 horas começou a chover na cidade, acompanhado de ventos fortes que assustaram os moradores. Diversos galhos de árvores caíram e ficaram pelas vias do município, como aconteceu na rua Donato Jorge, no Centro, perto do morro.
Os clientes e funcionários de um posto de combustíveis localizado no Jardim Centenário relataram ao Portal RB Na Rede que o vento parecia que iria arrancar a cobertura do estabelecimento.
