Prefeitura está realizando melhorias no local visando o feriado de Finados
O Cemitério Municipal de Dourado foi alvo de vândalos neste último final de semana. Foram furtadas seis torneiras de metal recém instaladas no local.
A Prefeitura Municipal está realizando melhorias no cemitério para receber visitantes no feriado de Finados, no dia 2 de novembro. Estão sendo feitos novo sistema de encanamento, instalação de novos pontos de água, plantio de trepadeiras nos corredores, manutenção da capela, novo calçamento e iluminação na área externa.
Um boletim de ocorrência foi realizado na Policia Civil a fim de averiguar e solucionar os fatos.
Este não é o primeiro caso de prejuízos causados por pessoas que tentam atrapalhar as benfeitorias realizadas pela atual administração da cidade. Na semana passada foi realizada pela terceira vez, desde junho deste ano, a manutenção da rede de iluminação das praças do Jardim Aeroporto e Igreja Matriz, que acabaram depredadas por atos de vandalismo.
Estas ações causam enormes prejuízos aos cofres públicos, já que a prefeitura gasta muito dinheiro para reparar, consertar ou substituir bens danificados e furtados.
