Trabiju entrou em estado de alerta e intensificou as ações de combate e prevenção à dengue. Nos últimos dez dias, pelo menos 33 casos suspeitos da doença foram registrados no município, que tinha média de quatro ocorrências por mês. No ano passado, a cidade teve 12 casos confirmados, segundo a Prefeitura.
Com as suspeitas, o movimento no posto de saúde aumentou. “Estava muito zonzo, com dor de cabeça, dor na vista, ânsia, vômito”, contou o vigilante José Luiz Pires, um dos moradores que precisaram de atendimento.
Os pacientes têm passado por exames e aguardam os resultados para saber se estão com dengue. “Os exames de sorologia são enviados para o Instituto Adolfo Lutz de Ribeirão Preto, mas só a partir do 6º dia do início de sintomas”, explicou o diretor de Saúde, Willian Ademir Letício.
Diante do aumento, as equipes da vigilância epidemiológica reforçaram as visitas aos domicílios e as campanhas de conscientização, mas o apoio da população é fundamental e Letício conta com os moradores para evitar a difusão da doença.
“Após cada chuva, é preciso verificar quintais, lonas que estão cobrindo recipientes, copos, vasos de plantas. Dentro de casa, os ralos, atrás da geladeira, muita gente esquece, tem o coletor para o degelo do refrigerador. O box do banheiro também tem que ser verificado. Qualquer mínimo vestígio de água pode se tornar um criadouro do mosquito”, orientou.
