Vândalos quebram banco de Praça em Ribeirão Bonito
Ação aconteceu na madrugada desta quarta-feira (22) e foi percebida logo pela manhã

Na manhã desta quarta-feira (22) um dos bancos de madeira da recém reinaugurada Praça de 9 de Julho, no Centro de Ribeirão Bonito, amanheceu quebrado. A Prefeitura acredita em uma ação de vandalismo que aconteceu durante a madrugada.
Logo pela manhã, ao sair para ir até São Paulo, o prefeito Wilson Forte Junior (PMDB), Nenê Forte, esteve na praça onde pôde comprovar o ato de vandalismo. “Os atos de vandalismo são atitudes imperdoáveis de quem não tem o mínimo de educação e respeito pelo patrimônio que é de todos, gente que arranca plantas na calada da noite, derruba placas de sinalização, quebra telefones público, orelhões e bancos de praças, nem se dão conta que estraga o que é seu mesmo”, desabafou o chefe do Executivo.
A Prefeitura deve registrar ocorrência sobre o fato, que se enquadra como crime contra o patrimônio público sendo passível de punição, sendo que o responsável pelo ato pode ser enquadrado no Capítulo IV, em seu artigo 163, inciso III, do Código Penal Brasileiro, por dano qualificado, cometido contra o patrimônio da União, Estado ou Município.
O Código Penal diz que é crime destruir, inutilizar ou deteriorar coisa alheia contra o patrimônio da União, Estado, Município, empresa concessionária de serviços públicos ou sociedade de economia mista. Neste caso, a pena para o ato de vandalismo pode ser de seis meses a três anos de detenção e multa.
Reinauguração – Após aproximadamente um ano e meio em obras, a Praça 9 de Julho foi inaugurada pela Prefeitura de Ribeirão Bonito no dia 9 de julho de 2015, feriado estadual em comemoração a Revolução Constitucionalista de 1932.
Com a reforma, a Praça agora conta com 42 bancos de madeira, 38 postes de iluminação tradicional e 25 rasteiro, além de rampas de acessibilidade para deficientes.
A Praça 9 de Julho também foi aumentada no sentido da Rua Dr. Pirajá da Silva, em frente ao Ribeirão Bonito Clube. De acordo com a prefeitura, o objetivo foi de criar da nova área um centro de convívio para exposições e feiras.
