Trabiju declara guerra contra a dengue
No início do ano passado a cidade registrou uma grande quantidade de casos da doença

Trabiju está completando um ano sem nenhum caso de dengue na cidade. Depois que um criadouro do mosquito Aedes Aegypt causou diversos casos da doença, no inicio de 2015, e que foi localizado e destruído pela equipe de controle de vetores da Prefeitura, a cidade declarou guerra ao mosquito.
Segundo a coordenadora do setor, Valéria Ribeiro Saba, Trabiju sempre teve um cuidado especial em relação a dengue, mas depois que esse criadouro apareceu em um tanque dentro de uma indústria que se encontrava fechada os cuidados foram redobrados.
O combate ao mosquito e a orientação sobre a doença se intensificaram e os moradores junto com as equipes de controle de vetores passaram a ajudar e a facilitar as vistorias em suas casas e quintais apontando possíveis criadouros e colaborando na destruição dos mesmos.
Por sua vez, a Prefeitura, através do prefeito Fabrício Vanzelli (DEM), providenciou duas bombas costais, que são utilizadas para aplicar a nebulização nos bueiros e na rede de esgoto da cidade.
Nessa batalha, denominada “Dengue Zero”, juntaram-se aos funcionários do setor de vetores também os do Programa Saúde da Família e o pessoal da limpeza pública, que constantemente passam limpando as ruas e também ajudando os moradores na limpeza dos quintais.
Além disso, a Secretaria de Saúde do Município aderiu à campanha do Governo Federal “Todos Juntos Contra o Aedes”. O trabalho foi realizado todos os sábados dos meses de março e abril, sendo levada de casa em casa a orientação para que cada um cuidasse do seu espaço evitando, assim, a proliferação do mosquito transmissor da dengue, zica vírus e chikungunya.
No início de 2015, a prefeitura também contratou, em um período de maior incidência do mosquito, uma equipe especializada que passou vários dias na cidade colocando veneno e levantando a real situação de casos. “Agora que há um ano a situação está totalmente controlada em nossa cidade, peço encarecidamente para que os moradores não deixem de continuar tomando os devidos cuidados para que o mosquito não volte às suas residências, pois nós do combate continuamos trabalhando incansávelmente para que Trabiju continue livre da dengue e que isso possa servir de exemplo para o Brasil”, destacou a coordenadora de vetores.
Em seu gabinete, ao lado de Valéria, o prefeito disse estar sempre a disposição do setor da Saúde que inclui o departamento de vetores para ajudar no que for possível. “Tivemos no inicio do ano passado um único criadouro que estava num lugar de difícil acesso e que necessitava de autorização para chegar até ele, o que acabou gerando casos da doença na cidade. Tomamos todas as providências necessárias e conseguimos elimina-lo e também realizar o tratamento das pessoas afetadas pela doença. De lá para cá, intensivamos ainda mais os cuidados que já vinham sendo realizados e agora temos a boa noticia de que Trabiju está há um ano sem casos de dengue”, comemorou Fabrício.
