A ação vem fazendo um enorme sucesso junto à população, com um grande número de adeptos que buscam a atividade como um meio agradável de exercitar, entrar em forma e melhorar a qualidade de vida.
Segundo o professor de educação física da Prefeitura, André Mota Freitas, orientador das aulas, o alongamento traz inúmeros benefícios aos praticantes. “São inúmeros benefícios que a prática de alongamento traz a seus adeptos, como correção da postura, melhora na circulação sanguínea, relaxamento do corpo, fim das dores musculares, entre outros, e pode ser realizada por qualquer pessoa. É uma atividade física que só faz bem para a saúde”, ressalta.
André ainda comentou sobre a importância do alongamento antes de qualquer atividade física. “O alongamento também é essencial antes da prática de qualquer atividade física, para evitar lesões, contusões, sem comprometer a saúde dos músculos do corpo”, orientou.
As aulas acontecem no prédio do Cirec, as segundas e quartas-feiras, das 19h às 20h e das 20h às 21h, e também as terças e quintas-feiras, das 8h30min às 9h30min.
Para os interessados, as aulas são para pessoas acima de 30 anos, de ambos os sexos, as inscrições podem ser realizadas nos horários e local das aulas.
Vale ressaltar que além do alongamento, são disponibilizadas gratuitamente pela Prefeitura, aulas de hidroginástica e natação.
