Dourado realiza Conferência de Assistência Social
Evento aconteceu nesta segunda-feira (10) e contou com a presença de diversas autoridades
Aconteceu nesta segunda-feira (10) no auditório do Departamento de Educação, a 10ª Conferência Municipal de Assistência Social, que reuniu as cidades de Dourado e Trabijú. A apresentação teve como tema “Consolidar o Suas de vez, rumo a 2026”.
Estiveram presentes na solenidade, que foi aberta ao público, o prefeito de Dourado, Luiz Antonio Rogante Junior (PP), Juninho Rogante, autoridades, representantes da área das cidades de Dourado e Trabijú, membros de entidades, usuários dos serviços municipais e da sociedade civil, com o objetivo dialogar coletivamente os destinos da política da Assistência Social, para o surgimento de propostas direcionadas ao fortalecimento da rede de proteção e promoção social na nossa cidade e para deliberar diretrizes que contribuam com a consolidação do Sistema Único de Assistência Social (Suas).
Juninho Rogante no discurso de abertura agradeceu a presença de todos e frisou a importância da participação. “Agradeço todos pela presença e destaco a importância da população em participar de eventos deste tipo, para opinarem e estarem por dentro de tudo que acontece no município”, ressaltou.
O prefeito de Dourado ainda comentou sobre a conferência. “A conferência é o processo de conferir os avanços e os desafios da política de assistência na nossa cidade, além de ser um momento de discutir e planejar propostas para efetivação das políticas públicas na área da assistência social para os próximos anos”, salientou.
Sistema – O Sistema Único de Assistência Social (Suas) é um sistema público que organiza, de forma descentralizada, os serviços socioassistenciais no Brasil. Com um modelo de gestão participativa, ele articula os esforços e recursos dos três níveis de governo para a execução e o financiamento da Política Nacional de Assistência Social (PNAS), envolvendo diretamente as estruturas e marcos regulatórios nacionais, estaduais, municipais e do Distrito Federal.
O Suas organiza as ações da assistência social em dois tipos de proteção social. A primeira é a Proteção Social Básica, destinada à prevenção de riscos sociais e pessoais, por meio da oferta de programas, projetos, serviços e benefícios a indivíduos e famílias em situação de vulnerabilidade social. A segunda é a Proteção Social Especial, destinada a famílias e indivíduos que já se encontram em situação de risco e que tiveram seus direitos violados por ocorrência de abandono, maus-tratos, abuso sexual, uso de drogas, entre outros aspectos.
