Duas pessoas morrem carbonizadas em acidente entre carro e ônibus na SP-255
Colisão frontal envolveu carro e ônibus próximo ao Rio Jacaré, entre Araraquara e Boa Esperança do Sul

Por volta das 19h30 desta terça-feira (23), a Polícia Militar Rodoviária foi acionada para uma colisão frontal envolvendo um carro VW/Fox e um ônibus da Viação Princesa na Rodovia Comandante João Ribeiro de Barros (SP-255).
O acidente foi próximo ao Rio Jacaré, entre Araraquara e Boa Esperança do Sul. Tanto o ônibus quanto o carro foram consumidos pelo fogo. Segundo o Corpo de Bombeiros, os onze passageiros e o motorista do ônibus conseguiram sair do veículo e, alguns, sofreram ferimentos leves enquanto quebravam uma das janelas do ônibus para escapar das chamas.
O ônibus seguia de Ribeirão Preto/SP para Londrina/PR. Um passageiro, que mora na cidade de Matão e passaria o Natal no Paraná, disse que não chovia no momento da colisão. “Minha poltrona era uma das últimas e ouvi apenas o barulho da batida. Agora nem sei se vou mais continuar esta viagem. Fiquei assustado e desanimado com isso que aconteceu”, disse o rapaz de 30 anos.
O carro ficou preso, parcialmente, embaixo do ônibus e os dois ocupantes morreram carbonizados. Os corpos não puderam ser identificados. A placa do veículo, que seguia no sentido Boa Esperança/Araraquara, também foi consumida pelas chamas.
Os corpos passaram pelo IML de Araraquara e a funerária responsável aguarda identificação. Qualquer informação que possa ajudar na identificação pode ser passada pelo telefone (16) 3397 8400.
