Melhor Idade de Dourado participa de corrida em Araraquara
Grupo se destacou nas duas provas da competição realizada pelo SESC
Os integrantes do Grupo da Melhor Idade em Ação de Dourado participaram no sábado (25) da Etapa 5K de Caminhada e Corrida realizado na cidade de Araraquara pelo SESC.
O evento contou com participantes de toda região que divididos em 8 categorias realizaram as provas de Caminhada de 3 quilômetros e Corrida de 5 quilômetros.
Os participantes douradenses foram muito bem em ambas as provas, com destaque especial para a senhora Odila Nascimento, de 72 anos, que completou todo o percurso da corrida em 39 minutos e 17 segundos.
Além das provas esportivas, os participantes puderam ter um momento de relaxamento e alívio das tensões do dia a dia no Espaço Saúde, com massagens, avaliações corporal, aeróbica, nutricional, arterial, glicemia, flexibilidade e pisada e também desafios de impulsão, equilíbrio, agilidade e velocidade.
O Grupo da Melhor Idade em Ação de Dourado que é promovido pela Prefeitura Municipal, participa frequentemente de competições e atividades deste tipo, que visam promover a democratização da prática esportiva, valorizando a qualidade de vida e o bem-estar.
