A Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais (Apae) de Ribeirão Bonito, denominada como Escola de Educação Especial “Joana Bivanco Machado”, realizou na última semana o Projeto Meio Ambiente com os alunos.
A diretora da escola, Teresa Appolari, juntamente com a sua equipe docente, Liliana, Luciene e Solange, e demais funcionários da entidade, colcoaram em prática o projeto, onde realizaram uma visita as represas que abastecem a cidade.
Os alunos puderam visualizar a situação da água e ficar mais conscientes sobre a importância de sua colaboração na economia da mesma.
De acordo com a direção da entidade e as professoras, os objetivos do projeto são conscientizar as crianças, despertando-lhes interesse pelo meio ambiente e sua preservação, da importância de cada um fazer sua parte, levando-as a perceberem suas responsabilidades a participação na organização e conservação do ambiente escolar, fazer que compreendam seus direitos e deveres em relação à preservação do meio ambiente do qual somos parte, exercendo sua cidadania, identificar as situações que causam danos ao meio ambiente: poluição, desmatamento, queimadas, extinção de animais e outras possíveis soluções, exemplos como replantio de árvores, evitarem a poluição, reaproveitamento, e sensibilizar os alunos sobre a importância da coleta do lixo e reciclagem, levantar alguns aspectos ecológicos referentes à água, ao ar e ao solo.
