Mais uma vez a festa de aniversário do deputado federal Newton Lima (PT-SP) e do ex-prefeito de São Carlos Oswaldo Barba (PT), comemorados nos dias 28 e 27 de fevereiro, respectivamente atraiu um grande número de pessoas. Além de familiares, amigos, representantes da imprensa e militantes petistas, a festa contou com a participação de prefeitos e vereadores da região, teve a presença de autoridades de todo o país e do ex-jogador de futebol e ídolo do São Paulo, Raí.
Na ocasião estiveram presentes o prefeito de Ribeirão Bonito Wilson Forte Junior (PMDB), os vereadores Renata Mesquita Magalhães (PSD) e José Sebastião Baldan (PMDB), o Chefe de Gabinete Júlio César Teodoro Barbosa e o presidente do Partido Republicano Brasileiro (PRB) e ex-vereador José Eraldo Chiavoloni.
Quem também apareceu para cumprimentar os petistas Newton Lima e Oswaldo Barba foi o ex-ministro da Saúde Alexandre Padilha.
A festa foi realizada na Chácara do Barão e a comemoração de aniversário teve no cardápio os tradicionais porco no rolete e costela fogo de chão.
