APAE de Ribeirão Bonito recebe quatro cadeiras de rodas

A Escola Educação Especial (EEE) “Joana Bivanco Machado”, administrada pela Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais (APAE), de Ribeirão Bonito, recebeu quatro novas cadeiras de rodas para ajudar no atendimento aos alunos da entidade.
Nesta terça-feira (24), a presidente da APAE de Ribeirão Bonito, Cassia Maria dos Santos Prior Manieri, e a 2ª secretária, Marcia Aparecida Marques Mascaro, estiveram no Conselho Regional de Engenharia, Arquitetura e Agronomia (CREA) de Monte Alto, com a presidente da Federação das APAES do Estado de São Paulo (FEAPAES-SP), Cristiany de Castro.
Na ocasião, Cristiany de Castro ministrou a palestra “Lei Brasileira da Inclusão (LBI) e os desafios para o Movimento Apaeano” e em seguida entregou 160 cadeiras de rodas para 15 APAE’s do Conselho Regional de Monte Alto.
Na palestra, Cristiany de Castro, advogada com vasta experiência na defesa dos direitos das pessoas com deficiência e presidente da FEAPAES-SP, falou da Lei nº 13.146/2015, que entrou em vigor em janeiro de 2016 e marcou o início de um novo olhar sobre os milhares de brasileiros que possuem algum tipo de deficiência. Também conhecida como Estatuto da Pessoa com Deficiência, ela marca e afirma a autonomia e a capacidade dessas pessoas para que exerçam atos da vida civil em condições de igualdade com as demais pessoas. “Nós temos uma legislação muito avançada, precisamos fazer com que esses direitos sejam garantidos no dia a dia, que a pessoa com deficiência seja vista como pessoa humana que deve ter seus direitos preservados”, disse.
A doação de cadeiras de rodas aconteceu graças à parceria realizada, em 2014, entre a FEAPAES-SP e a Igreja de Jesus Cristo dos Santos dos Últimos Dias.
Além de Ribeirão Bonito, foram beneficiadas as APAE’s de Américo Brasiliense, Araraquara, Barretos, Borborema, Colina, Guaíra, Ibaté, Ibitinga, Itápolis, Jaboticabal, Matão, Monte Alto, Rincão e Taquarituba.

A Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais (APAE de Ribeirão Bonito é uma Organização da Sociedade Civil (OSC), com sede própria na rua Professor Alfredo Noronha Jorge, nº 322, no Centro, de Ribeirão Bonito, Estado de São Paulo, e foi fundada no dia 9 de agosto de 1971.
Atualmente a APAE realiza atendimentos especializados nas áreas de Educação, Assistência Social e Saúde a 50 pessoas com deficiência Intelectual, Múltipla e Transtorno do Espectro Autista, de ambos os sexos, sem limite de idade, residentes em Ribeirão Bonito, no distrito de Guarapiranga e a também da cidade de Trabiju.
FEAPAES/SP
Fundada em 1993, a FEAPAES-SP atua no assessoramento às APAES do Estado e em defesa das pessoas com deficiência intelectual e múltipla. Além disso, promove capacitações, cursos e desenvolve projetos que beneficiam as 305 APAES do Estado, que juntas atendem mais de 60 mil pessoas diretamente.
Com sede em Franca, no interior de São Paulo, a FEAPAES-SP presta assessoria nas áreas de assistência social, educação, gestão, jurídica e saúde, visando à melhoria contínua dos serviços prestados pelas Associações. Em 2014, a Federação recebeu a certificação ISO 9001, que contribui no gerenciamento e na organização dos sistemas de atendimento, buscando aperfeiçoar o trabalho desenvolvido.
