Balanço final do ProUni registra mais de 1 milhão de inscritos
O balanço final do Programa Universidade para Todos (ProUni) registrou 1.032.873 inscritos. Os números divulgados nesta terça-feira (22) pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC) apontam que o total de inscrições foi 2.011.538, considerando que cada candidato teve oportunidade de fazer até duas opções de curso.
O estado com maior número de candidatos inscritos na primeira edição do programa neste ano foi São Paulo, com 187.489; seguido por Minas Gerais, com 141.839, e Rio de Janeiro, com 75.935.
A primeira convocação de candidatos pré-selecionados será feita na próxima quinta-feira (24) e o prazo para matrícula na instituição de ensino vai até o dia 31.
Em 8 de fevereiro, será feita a segunda chamada de pré-selecionados. O candidato deve providenciar a matrícula e a apresentação de documentos até o dia 19 do mesmo mês.
O ProUni concede bolsas de estudo integrais e parciais em cursos de graduação e sequenciais de formação específica em instituições privadas de educação superior. Para o primeiro semestre deste ano, estão sendo oferecidas 162.329 bolsas, sendo 108.686 integrais e 53.643 parciais (cobertura de 50% da mensalidade).
Para concorrer à bolsa integral, o candidato deve comprovar renda familiar por pessoa até um salário mínimo e meio (R$ 1.017). Para as bolsas parciais, a renda familiar deve ser de até três salários mínimos (R$ 2.034) por pessoa. Cada estudante pode optar por até dois cursos.
O estudante que conseguir apenas uma bolsa parcial (50% da mensalidade) pode custear a outra parte por meio do Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (Fies), sem necessidade de apresentar fiador. Para isso, é preciso que a instituição onde o aluno pretende se matricular tenha firmado termo de adesão ao Fies e ao Fundo de Garantia de Operações de Crédito Educativo.
Estão dispensados dos requisitos de renda para a obtenção de bolsa os professores da rede pública em efetivo exercício do magistério na educação básica, integrantes de quadro de pessoal permanente de instituição pública. Eles concorrem exclusivamente a bolsas para cursos de licenciatura.
