O atual prefeito, Oswaldo Barba e o prefeito eleito, Paulo Altomani se reuniram na tarde desta quinta-feira (18) para definir os integrantes da equipe de transição de governo.
Também participaram da reunião o futuro vice-prefeito, Cláudio Di Salvo e Waldomiro Bueno de Oliveira, ambos escolhidos por Altomani para integrar a equipe de transição. Pela Prefeitura, integram a Comissão de Transição os secretários, Paulo Almeida (Fazenda) e Rosoé Donato (Planejamento) do atual governo.
Para o prefeito Oswaldo Barba, a expectativa é realizar uma transição tranquila e transparente. “Disponibilizaremos todos os dados e aquilo que nos for solicitado. Vamos nomear a comissão com pessoas indicadas e espero que a comissão trabalhe bem e possa montar uma transição que facilite a vida dos novos governantes da cidade de São Carlos”, ressaltou Barba.
Barba disse ainda que o trabalho nesta reta final de mandato está sendo organizado para que o novo prefeito possa implementar o seu projeto na cidade.
Paulo Altomani disse tratar-se de uma primeira visita de cortesia e afirmou, também, ter certeza que a transição será realizada com muita transparência. “Fomos recebidos pelo prefeito e pela sua comissão de maneira cordial. Estamos satisfeitos e indicamos para compor nossa comissão os nomes do Waldomiro Bueno de Oliveira e o futuro vice-prefeito, Cláudio Di Salvo”, acrescentou.
Altomani disse também que deverá se reunir mais algumas vezes com o atual prefeito e sua equipe para discutir alguns ajustes para que possam futuramente aplicar com mais facilidade em seu projeto de governo.
Segundo Barba, foi executado mais de 90% da proposta de governo que assumiu junto à população há 4 anos. “Eu escolhi a educação como prioridade e avançamos muito. Vou deixar 9 escolas em construção para que o próximo prefeito possa entregá-las e, com isso, será resolvida a questão do déficit de vagas. São Carlos vai ser uma das primeiras cidades a resolver este problema com a criação de mais de 2 mil vagas”, informou.
Com relação à saúde, Barba ressaltou estar cumprindo com o compromisso assumido junto à população, e destacou que o Hospital-Escola deverá ficar pronto em cerca de 5 meses, além da UPA do Santa Felícia, que não estava nem prevista em seu plano de governo, e que será finalizada em breve. “Estamos praticamente concluindo vários postos de saúde da família que estão sendo construídos. Além disso, me comprometi com relação à moradia: falei que iria fazer em torno de 5 mil casas em São Carlos e já temos mais dois projetos praticamente aprovados que resultarão em mais de 2.900 casas”, destacou Barba, entre outras ações.
