Acidente aconteceu no Km171,5 próximo a o radar instalado na rodovia, mas que não está em operação

Um caminhão bateu em uma proteção metálica na Rodovia Luiz Augusto de Oliveira (SP-215) na noite desta terça-feira (30), entre Ribeirão Bonito e São Carlos. No momento do acidente chovia forte no trecho onde foi instalado um radar, que ainda não está em operação.
Segundo informações do motorista do caminhão, ele seguia pela rodovia no sentido Ribeirão Bonito, quando perdeu o controle, atravessou a pista contrária e bateu na proteção do lado oposto. Por sorte nenhum veículo trafegava na faixa de rolamento contrária.
O caminhão, um Volkswagen 10160, com placas de Pirassununga, teve danos no lado esquerdo na parte da frente e no baú frigorífico de transportar carne.
O motorista disse que saiu de Descalvado e iria até Lençóis Paulista, onde reside. Ele e o seu ajudante nada sofreram.
Uma equipe do Departamento de Estrada de Rodagem (DER) esteve no local e sinalizou o trânsito.
