A Prefeitura de Ribeirão Bonito, por meio do Controle de Vetores da Vigilância Sanitária, promoverá uma “Semana de recolhimento de pneus”, de 14 a 18 de maio, em todos os bairros da cidade, inclusive no distrito de Guarapiranga.
De acordo com a Prefeitura, a iniciativa tem como meta a conscientização ambiental junto à população sobre os prejuízos causados pelo descarte inadequado de pneus e também acabar com possíveis criadouros do mosquito Aedes aegypti, transmissor da Dengue, Chikungunya e Zika vírus.
O Controle de Vetores pede para que a população coloque os pneus nas calçadas e um veículo da Prefeitura Municipal irá passar para recolher nesses dias. “Contamos com a colaboração de todos para o combate as doenças transmitidas por este mosquito”, apontou o departamento.
