Já que, cada vez mais, a comunicação se transforma em competência essencial para que todos os profissionais que aspiram melhores posições em sua carreira. A partir de determinadas colocações – como gerência ou diretoria – o profissional passa a depender menos dos conhecimentos técnicos e a necessitar mais da sua habilidade de comunicação.
Isso demonstra a importância do preparo para falar bem desde o início de uma carreira profissional, sendo assim recomentado para quem tem dificuldades cursos de oratória e muita leitura. Todavia, além da necessidade de capacitação, algumas regras são pertinentes para afastar a insegurança e ser persuasivo em seus contatos profissionais, dentre os quais se destacam:
– Antes de qualquer reunião ou apresentação, buscar conhecer com a maior profundidade que puder o assunto e detalhes que possam ser apresentados ou questionados.
– Em caso de uma exposição, se organize e ordene todo o conteúdo com começo, meio e fim.
– Antes da apresentação trate de deixar o ambiente favorável, demonstrando descontração, se possível cumprimentando os participantes com simpatia e abordando temas mais amenos.
– Busque experiências práticas e cases de sucesso e sempre que houver oportunidades, aproveite para falar diante das pessoas, isso prenderá a atenção dos ouvintes.
– Identifique seus pontos positivos. Saber que aspectos da sua comunicação são fortes e quais precisariam ser aperfeiçoados.
– Durante a apresentação, nunca se coloque na posição defensiva, busque sempre estar no comando da conversa e olhe nos olhos das pessoas.
– Dúvidas ou mesmo dados apresentados de forma incorreta sempre ocorrem, por isso não se desespere, o pior inimigo é o pânico. Assim no primeiro caso informe que buscará mais informações e passará e no segundo admita o erro e ajuste a informação.
Além disso, sempre recomendo que o responsável pela apresentação tenha materiais de apoio. Se mesmo assim se sentir desconfortável deve começar a falar mais baixo e mais devagar para não deixar que seu desconforto seja percebido, apoiando as mãos sobre a mesa ou a cadeira para que possíveis tremores não sejam notados. Esses cuidados proporcionam um tempo precioso para que o orador queime o excesso de adrenalina, renove o oxigênio e fale com mais confiança.
