Correio D´Oeste omite parte da história do próprio jornal e de Ribeirão Bonito
O centenário Correio D´Oeste, jornal com edição quinzenária e que conta a história de Ribeirão Bonito, infelizmente continua a omitir parte da história dos profissionais que ajudaram a construí-la.
Para este editor é um assunto embaraçoso de ser tratado, mas está na hora de pararmos de hipocrisia provocada por picuinhas políticas.
Por que estou tratando deste assunto? Não é segredo para ninguém de Ribeirão Bonito que este editor não compactua com o pensamento do grupo político e de uma associação que pensam dominar a cidade.
O jornal, hoje comandado por estas pessoas, omite que o jornalista Lucas Castro foi o editor chefe do impresso de 2009 a 2013. É uma mínima colaboração de quem ama Ribeirão Bonito.
A vida tomou outros rumos. Este jornalista vislumbrou novos horizontes, mas manteve as raízes na cidade e inaugurou o RB Na Rede, que enaltece as qualidades, mas denuncia as mazelas pelas quais o município atravessa.
Para piorar, o Correio D´Oeste, que prega a ética e a responsabilidade no trato da informação, apaga a participação no impresso de um dos mais ilustres cidadãos de Ribeirão Bonito: Blota Júnior, que iniciou sua carreira jornalística aos 12 anos de idade, escrevendo para o jornal Correio D’Oeste, além de ser diretor artístico da Rádio Record, diretor-superintendente da Joven Pan e diretor-vice-presidente da fábrica de bicicletas Caloi. Nos anos 1980, foi um dos sócio-fundadores da TVB de Campinas, retransmissora da Rede Record.
Ninguém apaga uma história construída com o suor de milhares de ribeirão-bonitenses. Desgraçadamente, os atuais gestores do jornal caminham na contramão da história e pensam o contrário.
Pedimos desculpas ao senhor Antônio Alício Simões pelo desabafo. Sabemos que o senhor não tem culpa desta falha. Hoje o jornal Correio D´Oeste tem como editor-chefe o senhor Marcel Rofeal, que pode reescrever esta injustiça. Basta vontade!
Isso realmente é muito triste e constrangedor para quem prega uma Imprensa Livre…lamentável!
