Fortes chuvas causam estragos em Ribeirão Bonito

Neste sábado (12) Ribeirão Bonito foi atingido por fortes chuvas e ventos que causaram estragos e transtornos à população. A queda de uma ponte, quedas de árvores e muros, buracos na pavimentação, alagamentos e alguns danos em telhados foram registrados pela cidade. A estimativaa é que choveu aproximadamente 250 milímetros.
O Ribeirão Bonito, no Centro, transbordou e houve queda da ponte, na estrada municipal RBB-149, interditando a via de acesso ao Centro da cidade e deixando os moradores da zona rural praticamente isolados. Uma passagem precisou ser improvisada para passagem de pedestres.
O Jardim Novo Ribeirão também sofreu com as fortes chuvas. As ruas de terra do bairro não suportaram o grande volume de água, que chegou a invadir residências. Também no bairro a calçada de uma casa ficou totalmente destruída. No Centro o muro que divide duas chácaras também desabou. E na Praça do Jardim Morumbi o campo de futebol ficou alagado.

No Km 180 da Rodovia Luís Augusto de Oliveira (SP-215) uma árvore caiu, o trânsito chegou a ser interrompido até a retirada dos galhos e da lama que ficou na pista, para evitar qualquer risco aos motoristas. No trevo do município um barranco desmoronou e deixou a via cheia de terra.
O prefeito Wilson Forte Junior (PMDB), Nenê Forte, acompanhou os trabalhos dos funcionários da Prefeitura Municipal, que desde cedo estão tentando solucionar os problemas. “Estamos levantando os estragos para, o mais rápido possível, recuperar o que foi destruído”, explicou Forte.
Segundo o instituto de pesquisas meteorológicas Clima Tempo, ainda são previstas mais chuvas e para este mês de janeiro.
