Rota Run
Neste domingo (31), corredores da Rota Run, equipe de Ribeirão Bonito e Dourado, participaram da ASICS Golden Run – Half Marathon, em São Paulo, capital. Ao lado de mais 15 mil competidores, estiveram presentes Bruna Gonzaga, Fábio Milani, Fernando Jesus, Marcelo Polaquini e Nicole Verillo.
Com percurso de 21km e largada às 6h da manhã, ainda no escuro, a Meia Maratona teve um trajeto duro, cheio de subidas e túneis, inclusive com direito a famosa “subida da Brigadeiro”, a mesma da Corrida de São Silvestre. Percurso inédito, estrutura de padrão internacional e organização impecável.
A largada foi na Praça Charles Miller, Pacaembu, e seguiu pela Av. Pacaembu em direção ao Elevado Costa e Silva (Minhocão) chegando ao centro da cidade. Continuou pela Avenida Duque de Caxias, Rio Branco, Ipiranga, São João, passando pelo Largo do Arouche, Praça da República, Teatro Municipal, Viaduto do Chá, Prefeitura e Largo São Francisco; contornou a Praça da Sé, passou pelo Pátio do Colégio e seguiu pela a Av. Brigadeiro Luis Antonio cruzando a Av. Paulista até a Av. Pedro Álvares Cabral, em frente ao Parque do Ibirapuera; contornou o Parque pela Av. República do Líbano, sai a direita para acesso à Av. Juscelino Kubistchek passando pelo túnel Jânio Quadros até a Av. Lineu de Paula Machado. Chegada no Jockey Club.
A prova ainda contou com a presença de atletas profissionais e internacionais, e até mesmo do Marilson Gomes dos Santos, maratonista brasileiro que representará o país nas Olimpíadas Rio 2016. Marilson tem três vitórias na tradicional Corrida de São Silvestre e duas na Maratona de Nova York, sendo o primeiro sul-americano a vencê-la, além de possuir vários recordes sul-americanos em diferentes distâncias.
