Jovem de 15 anos de Ribeirão Bonito passará por testes no Cruzeiro
Francisco Italus dos Santos Costa treina no projeto da ADESM desenvolvido em São Carlos, onde teve grandes oportunidades

Com o objetivo de formar bons cidadãos, a Associação Desportiva, Educacional e Social dos Metalúrgicos (ADESM) também consegue lapidar garotos que sonham em um dia ser jogador de futebol e jogar em um grande clube. Diante disse, neste mês de março, seis meninos vão para o Cruzeiro, time de Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, passar por testes e se aprovados treinarão nas categorias de base da Raposa.
Um dos garotos que vão para o Cruzeiro é o zagueiro Francisco Italus dos Santos Costa, de 15 anos. Nascido em Ribeirão Bonito, o jovem tem o sonho de ser jogador de futebol e chegou até a ADESM após indicação de um amigo que treinava junto na cidade vizinha ao treinador e coordenador do projeto, Rogério Pereira. “Eu treinava em Ribeirão Bonito e um amigo meu que treinava aqui e hoje está no Cruzeiro, o Matheus Presses, conversou comigo e disse que o Rogério havia perguntado para ele se tinha algum garoto nascido em 2003, um zagueiro, aí vim um dia vim treinar aqui na ADESM e o Rogério pediu para eu ficar”, recordou.
Da ADESM, no ano passado Italus foi para o PSTC, time de em Londrina, no Paraná, onde treinou por um ano. “Devido ao desenvolvimento na ADESM, fui para PSTC do Paraná, fiquei um ano lá, foi muito bom, aprendi muitas coisas, consegui jogar com mais calma, não ser muito afobado, foi uma experiência muito boa”, observou.
No começo de 2018, Italus retornou a ADESM e na categoria 2003 foi disputar a MG Cup, na Toca da Raposa, que é o centro de treinamento do Cruzeiro, aonde a equipe chegou até a semifinal. “Fui jogar a MG Cup, em Minas Gerais, e o Cruzeiro se interessou”, disse.
Agora, Italus terá a oportunidade de treinar em um grande clube do futebol brasileiro e rever o amigo que o indicou para jogar na ADESM. “Vou para o Cruzeiro para jogar que eu sei, o que aprendei na Escolinha em Ribeirão Bonito, na ADESM e no PSTC, e se Deus quiser vai dar tudo certo”, observou.
Para finalizar, o jovem zagueiro revelou que sua grande inspiração no futebol é o também defensor Thiago Silva, do PSG da França e da seleção brasileira. “Meu sonho desde criança é ser jogador de futebol, eu gosto do Thiago Silva, me inspiro nele”, encerrou.
Italus viaja para Belo Horizonte na noite deste domingo (11) e se apresenta ao Cruzeiro segunda-feira (12), onde iniciará o período de testes.
Além de Italus, cinco garotos da categoria 2005 irão fazer testes no Cruzeiro, sendo Luís Otávio, João Roberto, Cauã, Alan e o Baloteli. Esses garotos se apresentarão no Cruzeiro no dia 26 de março.
