Os moradores de Ribeirão Bonito (SP) reclamam de uma ponte improvisada que liga a zona rural ao centro da cidade. Segundo eles, o problema, que causa muita insegurança, está sem solução há quase quatro meses. A Prefeitura informou que a construção da nova ponte deve ficar pronta em 30 dias.
Cerca de cem agricultores usam a passagem para escoar a produção. No dia 12 de janeiro, uma ponte de concreto feita há mais de 40 anos foi destruída por causa das fortes chuvas. A Prefeitura construiu uma provisória, mas muita gente tem medo de atravessá-la.
“Não tem segurança dos lados e fica muito difícil para a gente passar a noite para a cidade. Uma noite dessas, o ônibus caiu na beirada da ponte”, contou a trabalhadora rural Helena Aparecida Redondo.
O sitiante João Clemente afirmou que já teve prejuízos por causa das condições da ponte de madeira. “Eu estava passando na ponte e tem uma estaca levantada por causa de um caminhão que passou, bateu no carro e eu tive que trocar a bomba de combustível do carro. Eu troquei e dali a 15 dias tive que trocar tudo de novo”, reclamou Clemente.
Apesar do aviso que proíbe a passagem de ônibus e caminhões, tem motorista que não respeita a sinalização. “A gente depende da ponte. Agora se fica liberando para passar caminhão pesado de carga, como é que a gente vai fazer depois? Então, eu gostaria que alguém tomasse uma providência e fizesse alguma coisa para quem mora do outro lado, porque a gente precisa”, completou o sitiante.
Segundo a assessoria de imprensa da Prefeitura de Ribeirão Bonito, a construção da nova ponte está dentro do cronograma previsto e deve ficar pronta em 30 dias.
