Ribeirão Bonito cumpriu a meta prevista para a campanha de vacinação contra o vírus da gripe e imunizou aproximadamente 80% do público-alvo estabelecido pelo Ministério da Saúde. O prazo para que os grupos de risco recebessem a dose terminou na sexta-feira, 10, e de acordo com informações da Vigilância Epidemiológica a menor procura deu-se por parte dos trabalhadores da saúde e das gestantes.
De acordo com informações, o período de vacinação transcorreu com tranquilidade, devido ao empenho de toda a equipe responsável pelas ações realizadas nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde, além da comunidade que atendeu ao chamado geral e garantiu sua dose.
Mesmo com o fim da campanha, o Ministério da Saúde recomenda a adoção de medidas de higiene pessoal para evitar a contaminação por influenza. É importante higienizar as mãos com água e sabão, com frequência, principalmente depois de tossir ou espirrar, após usar o banheiro, antes de comer, antes de tocar os olhos, boca e nariz. Também é recomendável que as pessoas evitem tocar os olhos, nariz ou boca após contato com superfícies; usar lenço de papel descartável e proteger a boca e o nariz ao tossir ou espirrar.
