Ribeirão Bonito estreou com o pé direito na 18ª Taça EPTV de Futsal. A equipe foi até Brotas, onde enfrentou o time da casa e venceu por 3 a 2. O jogo foi no Ginásio “Jorge Atalla”, o Brotão.
O placar não reflete o que foi a partida. O primeiro tempo começou fácil para Ribeirão Bonito, que logo nos primeiros minutos abriu o placar. A partir daí uma sequência de bolas nas trave, foram quatro quase que em seguidas, com isso a velha máxima do futebol “quem não faz toma” prevaleceu e Brotas empatou.
Mesmo assim, ainda na primeira etapa, Ribeirão Bonito conseguiu marcar novamente e foi para o intervalo com a vantagem no placar.
Veio o segundo tempo e o time de Brotas precisava da vitória de qualquer jeito para se manter vivo na competição e os jogadores mostraram que estavam dispostos a virar o placar e empataram novamente.
Com o jogo igual, a experiência falou mais alto e Ribeirão Bonito conseguiu chegar ao gol da vitória e administrou o resultado até o fim da partida.
Com a vitória, Ribeirão Bonito é o segundo colocado do grupo, atrás de Bueno de Andrada, distrito de Araraquara, ambos os times com três pontos, sendo a diferença o saldo de gols. Já Brotas está eliminado da competição, pois perdeu as duas partidas.
O jogo que decidi quem ficará em primeiro da chave será na segunda-feira (5) no Ginásio “José Blota Junior”, em Ribeirão Bonito. O time da casa precisa fazer valer o mando de quadra e vencer a partida, caso empate ou perca, se continua em segundo do grupo.
