Saúde intensifica prevenção e combate à Dengue
Agentes visitam casas e nebulizam áreas críticas. Cidade tem quatro casos confirmados
O Departamento Municipal de Saúde, que desenvolve um trabalho de combate e prevenção à dengue desde dezembro do ano passado, intensificou a partir desta semana as ações pontuais em Ribeirão Bonito e no distrito de Guarapiranga. Agentes comunitários, por meio de visitas e inspeção domiciliares, bem como a aplicação de inseticida, nebulização, em áreas críticas, orientados pela Superintendência de Controle de Endemias (Sucen).
Diariamente 26 agentes comunitários de saúde, 10 pessoas contratadas emergencialmente e funcionários de apoio, saem às ruas para o trabalho de prevenção, orientação e conscientização junto à comunidade.
A diretora do departamento municipal de Saúde, Maria Eliza Lazarini Alboléia, destaca a importância da colaboração da população. “Dengue mata. É preciso que todos façam a sua parte na prevenção. No ano passado vivemos uma situação delicada de infestação do mosquito transmissor”, destaca.
Ribeirão Bonito tem hoje quatro casos confirmados de dengue e mais de 20 suspeitos.
Cuidados – No verão, as temperaturas sobem e as chuvas aumentam. Essa mistura de calor e umidade forma um ambiente ideal para a proliferação do Aedes aegypt, mosquito transmissor da dengue. Dessa forma, os cuidados dentro das casas são fundamentais para a prevenção da dengue neste período do ano.
É fundamental que as ações de combate e prevenção da doença sejam redobradas e algumas dicas são recomendadas como manter bem tampados caixas, tonéis e barris de água. Coloque o lixo em sacos plásticos e mantenha a lixeira sempre bem fechada, não jogue lixo em terrenos baldios, se for guardar garrafas de vidro ou plástico, mantenha sempre a boca para baixo, não deixe a água da chuva acumulada sobre a laje, encha os pratinhos ou vasos de planta com areia até a borda.
Outros cuidados também são importantes, se for guardar pneus velhos em casa, retire toda a água e mantenha-os em locais cobertos, protegidos da chuva, limpe as calhas com frequência, evitando que galhos e folhas possam impedir a passagem da água, lave com freqüência, com água e sabão, os recipientes utilizados para guardar água, pelo menos uma vez por semana, os vasos de plantas aquáticas devem ser lavados com água e sabão, toda semana.
