AFTOSA: VACINAÇÃO DEVE SER COMPROVADA ATÉ HOJE
A primeira etapa da campanha de vacinação contra a febre aftosa no Estado de São Paulo terminou em 31 de maio. O pecuarista tem até hoje (07 de junho) para comunicar a imunização do seu rebanho junto à unidade da Coordenadoria de Defesa Agropecuária – CDA da sua região. O Procedimento é realizado com a apresentação das notas fiscais comprovando a compra da vacina e a relação do gado vacinado.
Nesta etapa, a vacinação foi obrigatória somente para bovinos e bubalinos com até 24 meses de idade, mas o pecuarista deve declarar ao órgão oficial a relação de todo o rebanho existente em sua propriedade, por faixa etária e sexo, além de mencionar outras espécies, como ovinos, caprinos, equinos, muares e suínos, se houver.
No Estado de São Paulo a vacinação acontece em duas etapas – nos meses de maio e novembro. São Paulo completa 14 anos sem registro da doença. Os índices, nos últimos anos, sempre superaram os 96%.
“A comunicação é tão importante quanto à própria vacinação”, explica Cláudio Alvarenga coordenador da CDA. Caso não o faça dentro do período, o pecuarista está sujeito a multas que são de 3 Ufesps (unidade fiscal de São Paulo – R$ 16,42) – o que dá um valor de R$ 49,26 por cabeça pela não comunicação no prazo e de 5 Ufesps, total de R$ 82,10 por cabeça pela não vacinação. Após isto, a Defesa Agropecuária acompanhará junto ao criador a imunização de 100% do gado.
São Paulo possui um rebanho da ordem de 11,5 milhões de cabeças, mas é um importante corredor de exportação da carne bovina brasileira. Na pauta do agronegócio paulista, a carne é o segundo item, atrás somente do setor sucroalcooleiro.
