Uma Kombi da Prefeitura Municipal de São Carlos se envolveu em um acidente na noite desta segunda-feira (4), na Rodovia Luís Augusto de Oliveira (SP-215), em Ribeirão Bonito.
A Polícia Militar Rodoviária chegou ao local por volta das 21h30min, mas não encontrou ninguém ao lado do veículo. Os policiais constataram que a Kombi transitou por cerca de 50 metros por cima de um barranco, arrancando placas de sinalização e só parou após cair em um grande buraco. O acidente pode ter acontecido no momento em que uma chuva forte atingiu a região e os ocupantes transportados por populares.
O veículo foi recolhido ao pátio do Departamento de Estradas e Rodagem (DER), já que nenhum representante da prefeitura compareceu no local.
Os policiais informaram à reportagem que a aferição do tacógrafo estava vencida há seis meses.
